SARA BERNARDI

Passionate about Art, Architecture, Design. Devoted to the value of heritage, yet inspired by the unique encounter of contemporary creativity and excellence of traditional craftsmanship. In the constant pursuit of beauty.

​Italian. Architect, with 15 years experience in Architecture and Design, I worked for renowned Architecture companies such as Fuksas, and Graft, between Italy and China, before founding my own Atelier in Beijing, MICROmacro. During my career I trained in very challenging and multicultural environments, being involved in prestigious projects in China, south east Asia, USA and Italy. I worked on different project’s scales, ranging from Architecture and Interior Design, to Product Design, acquiring experience in a wide range of programme, such as high-end residential & office buildings, retail and hospitality. Among others, I worked as Project Manager at Fuksas Architects for The Shenzhen Bao’an international Airport, and The Armani 5th Avenue New York.  

Since 2017 I am consulting Luxury Brands as Project Manager for Retail & Hospitality projects.  In 2019 I graduated in Luxury Management at SDA BOCCONI and ESSES Executive Education Paris. 

 

MICROmacro

​MICROmacro founded in Beijing in 2012, is a Design Atelier, focusing on tailored Products & Interiors, and Consultancy for Luxury Brands. The Design research is based on contradictions and dichotomies, grafting different scales and mixing different identities and cultural influences. Starting from an Italian design background mixing inspirations and researches articulated from local to global influences. 

MICROmacro’s works and installations have been widely published in a number of  international design Magazines, such as Wallpaper, IDEAT, Elle decor, HOW TO SPEND IT, Living, CASE DA ABITARE, Home, etc..  MICROmacro's collections have been exhibited in many international Design events and prestigious Museums and Galleries between China and Italy: La Triennale di Milano, Today Art Museum Beijing, Chambers Fine Arts Beijing, Beijing Design Week, Fuori Salone Sarpi Bridge, Fuori Salone Ventura Lambrate, Oriental Design Week and Operae Indipendent Design Festival.
